De Novo is an alcohol and drug treatment service operated as a partnership between management and unionized members of Ontario's construction trades. We serve unionized construction workers, employers and their families.
We provide free assessment, referral, residential treatment and recovery support to men at our Sundridge facility. Women needing residential treatment are served by a trusted partner agency in the Toronto area.
People struggling with alcohol or drugs often feel hopeless. They often ask themselves, "Can anyone really help me?"

Your rights
By law, Ontario workers have three basic rights to protect their health and safety at work:
the right to know about workplace hazards and necessary control measures;
the right to participate in solutions to workplace hazards, best working through the joint health and safety committee (JHSC) in larger workplaces or worker representative in smaller workplaces;
the right to refuse unsafe work.
